Discovery is inherently a data driven organisation, using analytical insights to inform decisions across all aspects of the business. As a result the organisation as a whole has a high level of data literacy.
Sandra’s team is responsible for using data science to not only make predictions, but also to properly equip the business with what it needs in order to react to the predictions and to drive business decisions. The team’s aim is to fundamentally change how the business behaves and thinks. A key element to getting this right is to present Data Science work in a way that it is understandable and obvious to the business.
